Alberu had always believed his life was filled with enough unpredictability and danger already.
Holding the title of Crown Prince meant constantly dealing with ambitious nobles, political schemes, and people who would rather see someone else inherit the throne. Compared to most people, his life was already exhausting enough.
If he had known what kind of person he would meet in the future, however, he would have appreciated that peaceful period far more.
