Summary
Lexi Adlard had never been easy to explain.
An orphan from England with a sharp tongue and a habit of attracting the impossible, Lexi had spent most of her life pretending not to notice the strange things that happened around her. Glass shattering before it fell. Doors unlocking when they should not. Storms breaking at exactly the wrong moment.
Then a weekend at a Renaissance fair goes horribly wrong.
One moment, she is surrounded by music, costumes, and laughter.
The next, she wakes in a forest that should not exist.
The world she finds is beautiful, dangerous, and terrifyingly familiar — a kingdom of magic, knights, grimoires, and battles she remembers only as fiction. Lexi knows how the story is supposed to unfold. She knows who lives, who fights, and what darkness waits beyond the horizon.

The kid’s gray eyes met his. At first there was mostly hesitancy reflecting in them, but then they crinkled at the corner as a wider, warmer smile spread across Aang’s face. Wan returned it, already feeling a thrum of excitement at whatever life had in store for this abnormally young Avatar. Whatever it was, it would be interesting—he could sense it.

Basically, Wan is watching over Aang's journey. Kind of like a 'character watch the' with less detail, I suppose.

Summary
A scarred girl with confusing heritage joins the Gaang after years of having only herself, a moody cat-owl, and the winds for traveling companions in hopes of ridding the world of the century old war which has reigned hell on all peace she's ever had.
Working to stop an entire nation conquered more than half the world is no easy feat, but so is solving every problem they come across, managing the emotions which come with it and the balance of their team when faced with tense situations, prolonged chases by a familiar scarred face, and the ever present threat that is the Fire nation.

Hope you all enjoy my take and twist on the beautiful series that ATLA is!! Im going for more of a free grounds feeling so the fic won't be following the script of the chapters, but rather the story line with my own dialogues and pace.
First few chapters follow YOU, yes YOU behind the screen!! Jk but yeah the first couple of chapters are a peek into the backstory of YN and the appearance of our beloved atla characters follows close behind.
