Andrew leaves Oceanside after Julias funeral, seeking refuge with his half brother in Pittsburgh. determined to put his previous life behind him. Until he gets a call informing him that Cath is dead. He returns to pay his respects but upon seeing how Lena is being treated, takes her with him back to Pittsburgh. Andrew adores his niece and is determined to give her the best life possible. Summary
In both of their defenses, it wasn't like they planned it.
Blame it on intern/R2’s brains on hour fourteen of their shift. Maybe Trinity had, the same urge to protect, god protect them that she’d had earlier that day with every other kid who ended up in this place as she sang a lullaby. Maybe it was all those farm nights, sleeping in Amy’s spare room and getting up to feed Theo a bottle. Wearing the pajamas of a dead man and holding his kid, Dennis remembered similar nights in Nebraska where everybody would pitch in with his nephew’s feedings while his sisters-in-law slept.
Maybe it was a lack of faith in the foster-care system. It wasn’t like Trinity would be able to make sure she was safe. Maybe Dennis over-empathised with whatever other soul was finding shelter in a hospital room.
But the point is, they’ve had Jane for a week.

At the end of the day shift, Baby Jane Doe is still in Paeds. Turning around halfway down the highway, Dennis Whittaker makes an unlikely choice. Funnily enough, Trinity Santos is making the same one when he gets there.
Or: Dennis, Trinity, and a baby is three.

Summary
When Dennis agrees to house-sit for Robby, he’s expecting three months of quiet and an excuse to avoid everything he’s been trying not to think about.
Instead, he finds Robby still at home, exhausted and overwhelmed, taking care of baby Jane Doe.
Dennis offers to help—just for a few hours, just until things settle—but it’s easier to stay than to leave. As routines form and walls come down, he keeps finding reasons not to go, until what started as something temporary begins to feel dangerously close to a life neither of them ever planned.

Summary
Dennis is assaulted by a patient.
3 days, a grade 3 concussion, 2 broken ribs, broken nose, and brain surgery later Dennis is allowed to go home with round the clock care, the only problem is at Santos’ apartment there’s nobody to watch him.
Obviously Robby and Jack step in. Their alternate schedules mean Robby can watch him at night and Jack can watch him during the day.
The question is if Dennis can handle the two older, MARRIED, men, and if he’ll get better after the severe beating he took.All this with a side of religious trauma and being afraid to disappoint god with his indiscretions, how will Dennis manage?
