Summary
Lestat's last thought before he finally lost consciousness was that he'd chosen well. He'd offered over his power, his love, and his companionship and Louis had, without even knowing how, chosen to take him as his mate as well.
When next Lestat woke they would be joined in a way no other pair ever could be: maker and fledgling, alpha and omega, and companions in eternity—all of it sealed in blood.

Lestat is cursed by a vengeful witch, forced to undergo pregnancy and all its complications against his will. When the curse finally runs its course, he chooses to try again with Louis. The complications that arise the second time around are external, ancient, and even more impossible to fight back against.
