    The lock clicked, and the door slowly opened. William immediately launched into his prepared speech. “Finally!” The door wasn't even fully open yet.“I made an incredible discovery today!” William didn't stop. “And because you refused to answer your phone, I spent half the day trying to find you!” William pointed accusingly. “Then I had to leave the lab and-”

    William stared, the scent was unmistakable. A very strong Omega scent. His eyes slowly lifted, and finally looked at Albert properly. For several seconds, William simply stared. Then realization hit him. “Oh…” William pointed. “You're... going through your cycle.” Wesker blinked slowly. “Yes...” Another slow blink. “And?”
