When Louie runs into Goldie and the two get roped into working together once more to save their own tailfeathers, he had no idea one simple little chance encounter would end up changing his life so much.
Or that he would find so much solace and comradery in a woman the world- and his own family- would tell him he'd be foolish to trust.
But just because they wouldn't understand the odd bond they share as Goldie teaches him about all kinds of things ranging from which spoon to use at a fancy event to just which is the best silencer on the market and how to properly break into a safe or proper road etiquette when driving a getaway car, doesn't mean that Louie isn't going to dive headfirst into this crazy world he finds himself being introduced to.
He loves his family, but in their world of black and white he think he prefers to exist in the gray.

Why is it that every time Peter Parker thinks he has his life on track, things take a turn for the worst?
His life was finally turning around. He had friends — a life.
Everyone he once loved was gone, but Peter Parker had rebuilt. Became apart of a team, one that actually considered him more than a trainee (cough cough Avengers). He had a job, and he maintained his studies.
Spider-Man was thriving. The people adored him (even though JJ held his usual grudge). It seemed Strange's spell had also somehow influenced the intent the Daily Bugle and it's fans had to find out Spider-Man's secret identity.
Peter was safe. Content.At least until one interdimensional attack sent him hurtling through a flashing portal and into some strange city he was quite sure he couldn't place on a map. Peter is starting to hate colourful glitches.

When the Second Giant War ended, Percy thought he'd finally have some peace and quiet before starting college with Annabeth. But his mom convinces him to go with them to visit his uncle and cousins in Gotham City, whom he hasn't seen in five years.
Because, of course, everything will be fine when you visit a man with adoption issues who likes to dress up as a rodent to beat people up in the streets.
And of course, there's the small detail that he doesn't know they know about the spandex costume, nor the small detail that his nephew is the son of a god.
And wasn't Jason supposed to be with Uncle H? And why is he being followed by a cute little assassin baby with a katana? Seriously, Percy just wants to survive this week so he can get back to his normal life before starting college.
