Summary
Henry Stickmin, the professional thief, living through multiple lifetimes. Ever since he went to break into that bank, he's experienced impulsive choices that he can choose from, looping time back if he chooses wrong. And what does he get at the end of it? Sent right back to the first choice he experienced making, forced to live through it all over again.
He lost count of how long he had spent trying to save Charles. Nothing he did worked. So eventually, he moved on, deciding that he'll at least live through the best possible timeline with the two people that mean the most to him, for the rest of eternity. He just didn't want to be alone again…
So off he goes, starting once more from the beginning as he starts going through all the different “missions” he always experiences. Breaking that bank in the middle of a desert, escaping from a prison thanks to a mysterious package, stealing a diamond from a local museum. Going through events like clockwork, barely paying attention to the choices he's making as he's going through them. Instinctively picking instinctive choices… until he stops, processing what he just committed himself to as he finds himself inside a large transparent plastic ball inside of a cannon. -

Summary

Sonic Movie 3 Spoilers!
Sonic is struck with grief in the wake of Shadow's sacrifice. Shadow, in his truest form—his pain, his honor, the good in his heart—is Sonic's little secret. The world isn't ready. Nobody would understand, not even his own family. Sonic is more than ready to shoulder the burden.
But Shadow's not dead.
It doesn't take long for he and Sonic to fall into their awkward little tango. Midnights spent sneaking into the Wachowski household lends well to forming a strong, indestructible bond, and it's only natural that, over the course of it all, two hedgehogs fall in love.
Title comes from the song Hunter by Paris Paloma, which played at the theater before my second viewing of Sonic 3, and now is a song I associate wholly with sonadow. Haha, whoops!

A Sonic 3 inspired fic that explores a warm, fun, quicker-than-TSIOQ slow-burn with a vibe more closer to a fun side-story like Knuckles (the spinoff show) as opposed to a full film, but still just as much of a fun & incredible read. Has a fluffy "dating & everyone knows" ending with some angst before the end.

Or basically Sonic and Shadow travel the shatterverse and end up in a reality where they're both dating.
