“Master Tim, would you like to join us for breakfast?”
And there it was. Tim didn’t turn to look at them, he could feel that Dick and Jason’s eyes were locked on his back. He knew they were glaring. Bruce had stopped typing, probably holding his breath and dreading the day Tim didn’t say no. He hated the silence that stretched every time as they waited for his answer, staring him down, just daring him to accept.
“I can’t tonight, but thank you for the invitation, as always.” He wished he could put a frustrated emphasis on the last two words, but who was he to be rude to Alfred? There was a short pause, then Bruce began typing again. He knew Jason and Dick were now probably looking at each other, relieved.
“Well, the invitation remains open, as always,” replied Alfred.
When the light indicated Tim had reached the surface via one of the Batcave’s back exits, Dick broke the silence that had settled since he left. “So much for him being more willing to stay for breakfast with Jason and I here. We’re zero for who knows how many tries, I’ve lost count.”
OR: The Waynes concoct plans to invite Tim into the pack. Tim schemes up ways to satisfy his need for pack without the Waynes finding out.

Summary
“It's fine, I'll pay for it,” Bruce says, brushing him off, pulling out a leather wallet from the pocket inside his coat. Jason is reminded with cruel nostalgia all those times where Bruce would do the same when he was young, it felt like magic then, when he'd pull his little black card and let it take care of everything as if it was the easiest thing in the world.
Jason felt fortunate then, omega and pup instincts giddy with being taken care of.
Right then Jason doesn't know how to feel. It feels bittersweet at most.
Either way, it's still an act.
Or: Jason wants a collar around his neck if Bruce is going to boss him and keep him around, not that the alpha seems to care.
Bruce on the other hand, has to witness his son perceived as an omega - as something desirable for something inside him to break.

Summary
“Baby Bird?” Jason’s voice shifted, softened into something almost fragile, as if he were speaking to a child. Maybe, in his eyes, Tim was exactly that. The familiar nickname—so wrong, so tender—sent a tremor down Tim’s spine. Jason never called him that. Jason never spoke to him with warmth.
Jason hated Tim.
He shut his eyes tight, praying this was just a cruel dream. But then warm hands cupped his face, grounding him. A metallic clatter echoed through the cave, sharp and final. The gun had hit the floor.
“No, no, no—don’t close those blue eyes, Baby Bird. Look at me,” this time Jason’s voice cracked into a plea. Every word trembled with fear, with a need that made Tim’s chest tighten painfully. Tim bit down on a sob, the taste of salt and blood filling his mouth, forcing himself to lift his gaze and meet the toxic green fire of Jason’s eyes once more. He could feel the tremor in Jason’s hands, the way his knees pressed into the cold floor, and it made his own body ache with tension.

Tim wakes up in Gotham, which looks too foreign, but he finds a home there.

Summary
When Jason comes back from the dead, Talia tells him that Bruce, his father, didn’t avenge him, that he replaced him. She trains him and then sets him loose on Gotham.
What she fails to tell him, however, is what happened to the last person who dared to taunt Nightwing with his little brother’s death, who dared to touch his second little brother.
Or Red Hood kidnaps Robin and ends up with way more than he bargained for.
Nightwing is not losing another brother.
