Summary
An AU where the survivors never went to the Constant, rather the Constant came to them.
Corruption seeps through the very fabric of reality, mutating those who come into contact with it. A select few with natural immunity to whatever disease this is develop abilities that can only be described as super human, and anyone that shows signs of infection are culled by the Lux Brigade for the safety of the masses. A colourful cast of infected hide within the walls of Gloria's Dominion, fighting not only the Corruption, but to keep their abilities hidden from anyone who wishes them harm.

Summary
After striking a deal with the devil, self-fashioned “Gentleman Scientist” Wilson P. Higgsbury is marooned in a strange world populated by equally strange creatures. He finds he’s not the only one Maxwell has deceived, either, for among the creatures is a cast of unscrupulous characters he wants nothing to do with. However, he may be forced to work alongside them if he plans to find a way out of this odd dimension, if not take revenge on Maxwell, himself.

Summary
Wilson attempts to free his lover from the throne, and naturally has to take his place. The consequences turn out to be drastic when Wilson's mind is taken over by the shadows, and Maxwell finds himself in yet another prison when it comes clear that if there is one thing that has stayed the same, is Wilson's endless love for the former King. Whether he likes it or not.
The story follows two main timelines: In the beginning of every chapter, the timeline where Wilson is survivor and develops his relationship with Maxwell through the time that passes by, and the main story after Wilson has become the King.
