I live to see another day (and another fic with multiple chapters I begun). I'm kinda obsessed now, soz, I'm not letting them go. Trying to write a better fic than last time too, aiming for a bit of a slower burn (though it's faster paced? Maybe? Who knows?).

Nothing better than being alone with your best friend in the radius of light years. What could go wrong? Well, for once, you can run out of real food and rely on coma slurry, and you can't even go back to coma because then your short friend will die of boredom. So what's left to do? How well can you know someone before you get compromised? Don't ask Grace.

Welcome aboard, passenger number three.
Ryland Grace now must face his biggest challenge yet: parenthood. It's going to be a long four years to Erid, and he and Rocky are going to have to team up and get creative in raising this tiny human together within the walls of the Hail Mary. Grace is going to have to sort through his own issues-- including painful memories and tricky feelings about his alien best friend-- all while being at the mercy of parenthood, deep space, and their limited supplies.
OR: Grace and Rocky have to figure out how to keep a human baby and themselves alive for four years until Erid. They also happen to be falling stupidly in love the whole time without realizing it.
