Kaladin of Hearthstone had eleven rockbuds along the vines adorning every Rosharan's arms. When his brother and familial soulmate dies, the wilted flower on his right hand serves as a permanent reminder that he can never, ever let such a failure happen again.
The vines along Shallan Davar's arms are uniquely shattered, though thankfully they leave her unbloomed soulflower at the base of her wrist healthy and in-tact, as far as she can tell.
