Summary
The larks flash through the chilly morning with their song - doing what they do best, doing what they were intended to.
They need no meaning and it’s simple. They’re a part of the world and there are things in this world that will last long after they’re gone forever but they do not fret about the end. It’s just the way the world is.
Larks don’t struggle. They live in the moment. That’s what they’re meant to do.
Some time has passed since their parting and they are ready to forgive one another. Unfortunately, when Geralt finds Jaskier the circumstances are slightly different from what he expects. However, he is determined to make amends, even if it means that instead of using a sword he has to rely on all the terrible things he has no idea how to wield. Care and tenderness, that is.

Summary
“What if we became idols?” Wreck asks.
Nice, stretching before practice, pulls the earbuds out of his ears and looks up. Wreck stands above him, haloed by the fluorescent light of the dance studio, shimmering and godlike.
Nice would follow him to the ends of the earth.
Like, as a fan.
If Wreck were an idol, that is.Following Nice as he meets Wreck and they become friends, idols, and heroes. Then, as Nice falls apart, Wreck works to keep him together, and Nice finally begins to realize how much Wreck means to him.

But nothing throttles him when he drools. But nothing chokes him when he fights it, when he rises, when he growls. But nothing punches him just to leave it, and his pride too, on his pillow.
Nothing punches him for being bad, for being bad enough he’s insane. But Nice is palmed down to the bed again with a firm one at his throat. At the right of it when he swallows. At the right of it when he shakes. At the right of it when he buckles. At the right of it when he falls. And when he falls again it’s even gentler when there’s another one at his face.
