“There are balls up my ass,” Hoseok blurted out, the words exploding raw, face crumpling as shock and shame crashed over him in equal measure.
“Pardon me?” Namjoon blinked at him, voice pitching up in disbelief, the words not computing as his mind reeled—confusion spiking into outright bewilderment, heart stuttering at the absurdity.
“Daddy, please,” Hoseok whispered, plea laced with desperation, but Namjoon held up a hand, needing clarity amid the emotional whirl.
“Balls?”
Hoseok nodded, head dipping low, embarrassment choking him as tears welled fresh, the vulnerability stripping him bare.
“Up your…?” Namjoon pressed, voice dropping to a stunned murmur.
Hoseok nodded again, silent and mortified, shoulders hunching as if to disappear.
Namjoon went silent, looking Hoseok up and down.
“Plural?”
“Four, to be exact…”
“Like one, two, three, four?”

"Dating?" Namjoon thunders, though he doesn't raise his voice. It just... seems to come from the chest. It sounds almost primitive. Jin shakes all over, not from fear, but for distinct reasons. Oh boy...
Disbelief and horror on his husband's features.
"Ay." Innocently, Jimin reaffirms.
"But-" Namjoon blinks. "But you can't date!"
Jimin's jaw drops. "No?"
"No, you can't." Namjoon grabs Jimin, pressing their cheeks together. Jimin tries to squint at his dad's reaction. Jin shakes with the effort of holding in his laughter. Namjoon looks like he's in pain. It feels like someone has plunged a knife into his sweet heart. He rubs his cheek against Jimin's, a furrow between his bushy, pencil-lined brows. He presses Jimin all the way to him, even when the puppy moans. "You're my baby. Just my baby."
And there's that sharp edge of possessiveness that makes Jin fan himself. Makes him wish he could have another baby.
"But-" Jimin stutters trying to break away from his dad. "But- but... But I want!"
And there's that sharp weeping edge. His voice getting wet with tears.
Oh my...
