Summary
To help celebrate her husband, Kelly Severide who had just reached 20 years as a firefighter in the CFD, Stella secretly enlists the help of her best friends Sylvie Brett & Violet Mikami into planning a surprise party which they try to hide from Kelly. While they were doing all that, Stella also happened to find out something that she tries to keep as a secret from her husband while she figures out how to tell him. It's a secret that would end up changing their lives forever.

Summary
Two years after they got married, Kelly and Stella were beginning to think about raising a family together when Firehouse 51 suddenly gets a call to a big house fire. While responding to the call, one of them ends up becoming seriously injured due to a ceiling collapse. In the aftermath of the call, Stella tries to find out the cause of the fire with OFI's help and in the process is forced to revisit a part of her traumatic past in order to help connect and relate to the victim.

Summary
In the weeks after Hawkins' funeral, Violet has a nightmare about him while Stella has a nightmare about Severide and both women try to deal with their nightmares in their own ways. Later Stella, Sylvie and Chloe pay a visit to Violet and the three women all help Violet with coming to terms and healing from the loss of Hawkins.
Elsewhere, Boden asks to meet Severide and both men talk about the changes that have happened at Firehouse 51, the losses they've had and the possibilities of the future. Boden then ends up giving Severide a surprise offer.
