Charlie struggled with his feelings.
Everybody knew that. The islanders knew that, the island itself knew that. his friends outside of this island knew that.
Anyone who has met Charlie knows that.
The problem wasn't people knowing it. The problem was that no one knew the extent of it. They would just brush it off, and normalize it; after all, everybody struggled with them, right?or, Charlie is a slime mob that does not have any emotions until he finally does.

He felt the anger in his lungs further in his throat. He quickly realized that the burning in his throat wasn't actually anger and quickly jumped from the couch to the bathroom. He felt something burning his throat, but when he lifted his head from the toilet seat, what he saw was definitely not what he was expecting. Flower petals around the hole of the toilet, adorning something that people usually don't decorate.

Herman wasn't even sure if his eyes were open anymore. He couldn't tell if it was dark or light outside or if his eyes were just closed. He tried to will himself to control his twitching and shivering to reduce the pain, but he knew he was long gone. He felt his body curl up on itself, his knees touching his frozen chest.
Herman’s breathing became shallow. His heartbeat slowed. His hearing was just about gone with only Flambae’s frantic shouting and Golem’s deep voice reaching his ears.
He really should've listened to granny.Herman's people-pleasing habits bite him in the back on an especially cold day and he lands himself in the hospital. The Z-Team's concerned for him, he has to deal with his hypothermic symptoms, and Flambae's acting weird. Huh.

“It’s just that I p-practically live at his place half the time now. Which is great! But most of my room is there, and- and I don’t know what…I don’t know what that means. He’s never said…never s-said what this is.” He slumped over again, the side of his face lay wet and defeated on the bar. “It’s stupid. Right? I’m stupid?”
He could hear the exasperation on her face, a short, frustrated exhale through the nose before she spoke again.
“Damn Herm, the fuck? Have you even asked him what he wants from all this? Like at all? Ever?”
He hesitated, feeling the reprimand coming before he even opened his mouth.
“No?”
