“Com—” Her voice cracks, and she clears her throat. “Come in!”
“Nice save,” Agatha whispers sarcastically.
“Shut up,” the girl snaps, whipping her head around to shoot Agatha a glare that could kill, hissing through her teeth.
Then, the door creaks open slowly, the sound dragging out in the thick silence. Every second feels like an eternity to Agatha, her heart pounding in her chest as she holds her breath, staring at the door. The anticipation is unbearable, the tension in the air palpable.

She held back annoyed huff, but even then her annoyance was replaced with concern. How could Rio forget? Alice was her best friend.
Agatha reached up, the back of her hand grazing her girlfriend’s forehead, “Sweetheart, are you feeling alright?”
Rio batted her hands away like an annoyed child.

“Win the Euros,” Agatha repeated. “Then you’ll get your answer.”
OR: it's the 2025 Women's Euros and Barcelona teammates Rio Vidal and Agatha Harkness must go head to head as they compete for their countries. But it's more than that now when Rio presents a question to Agatha that she and the rest of the world want the answer to...is Agatha in love with her? Only a Euros trophy stands in the way of Rio getting that answer.
