Summary
You slowly walked around the room noticing the beautiful stained-glass windows, scenes of people praying to angels. You frowned as the images triggered your memory, “Isn’t Belial an ancient demon or something?” you asked, snorting in ridicule. Suddenly your back hit the nearest wall as Sharael slammed you against it holding you still by your throat.
His eyes flashed with anger as he sneered at you. “What do you know of him?”
You summoned as much strength and bravery as you could muster and…squeaked. “Nothing, I just remember the name from a religious studies course.” You somehow managed to stutter as you tried to pull his hand off with your fingers.
“Sharael! Let her go!” commanded Diadra. He reluctantly loosened his grip but leaned in closer. You coughed as the pressure lessened.
“It is unwise to utter names of which you claim to not know or understand,” he stated and then walked back towards his scythe, eyes cold and distant once again.
