"Hey can I see the photo from this morning?" Annabeth asked, already reaching towards the bag.
Percy's eyes widened in panic, "Uh, no!"
"What? Why not?"
"Can I make a deal with you?" He asked
Annabeth nodded, unsure of where this would be going.
"I will buy every ride photo, but you can't look at them until after the trip is over."
She felt her eyebrows draw together in confusion, "Um, sure. But why?"
A flicker of nervousness passed across Percy's face but it was gone and replaced by his signature smirk in a moment.

Or, Percy insists on buying every ride photo from their trip to Disney, but refuses to let Annabeth see any of them. It's worth it in the end.

“Yeah my friends were planning this huge Christmas party with gift exchanges, a feast, lots of drinks. And it officially started,” Percy paused as he checked his watch, “an hour ago.”
He groaned and put his head in his hands, clearly wishing he was anywhere else in the world but this godforsaken Best Buy right now. Annabeth’s heart tightened - simultaneously jealous of someone who had a party full of love and laughter waiting and saddened watching someone miss out on that for some shitty, barely-above-minimum-wage job.
“Well what are you still doing here then? Get your butt to that party!”

“Hey Perce,” he began slowly, “how’s your embarrassingly huge crush on that Ravenclaw girl going? What was her name again?”
“Annabeth,” Percy mumbled, already beet red.
“Oh right, Annabeth. Like the one who’s walking this way right now?”
Percy spun around at inhuman speeds, jaw dropping open and eyes widening. Annabeth walked, no, strutted through the courtyard. Her hair was perfectly curly, Ravenclaw cloak, adorned with a new prefect badge, whipping behind her, calculating grey eyes focused straight ahead.
A strange noise escaped Percy’s lips, which caused Piper and Jason to burst into peals of laughter. Annabeth walked right past, without so much as a glance in their direction.
Percy turned back to his friends and ran his hand through his hair - somehow even more red in the face than before.
“You are such a dork,” Piper comforted him with a pat on the back , “a hopelessly in love dork.”

Azriel has been smitten since he saw her big, beautiful eyes and bright smile, and is even more thrilled when she ends up at Cassian’s self-defense class. He wants to know everything about her, and he wants to be able to meet her text for text, and even sign for sign. Using his ruined hands to communicate should have terrified him, but for Gwyn?
