Steven stared at the search result, skimming his way through an article with a frown.
Good news, he wasn’t alone, left stranded with another problem only experienced by a Human-Gem hybrid. Bad news; it was yet another problem caused by everything he had gone through. He already had one power solely meant to point out how broken his brain was, and now his OLD powers could turn into the same thing?
Steven closed the tab, and tried to forget about it. Easier said than done.

Summary
Time travel is always fraught with danger.
Steven knows this — Steven has experienced it first hand. So when he gets transported back to his younger self and the Crystal Gems, the only thing he wants is to not interfere and find a way back. The last thing he wants is to inadvertently deny someone he loves their happily ever after.
But things are never that easy. Not only is Garnet's future vision on the fritz, he's noticing something strange with the younger Steven, and he still has issues of his own to contend with.If he's not careful, the future waiting for him may not be the one he left behind.
