Summary
While he sat on the side of the road, waiting for the tow company with his dad who was prattling on about ice cream for some reason, something clicked in Steven's mind. No matter what he did, no matter how much he messed up, they would never see him for the monster he was. For Christ's sake, he just totaled his dad's van and house with one outburst, and he's talking about how proud he is.
Beach City wasn't a home, not anymore, it was now a miserable cesspit of pity and failed expectations, a poisonous mix that would rot his organs one by one. He needed to get away, it didn't matter where.

Izuku stared in wonder as his father flipped on the lights in the small warehouse. The place was littered with pieces of machinery and wild looking tech, including two silver capsules standing in the center of his room.
Hisashi walked over and leaned against the one on Izuku's left, "I think it's time I introduced you to the family business kiddo."
Izuku's father stepped away and opened the capsule and revealed a suit of armour resplendent in crimson scales, as well as a black visor with red horns that twisted and curved upward.
"What do you know of the man called: The Dragon?"

Miles runs his finger across the metal chain, causing the rubber glove to rip. He runs his finger along the metal chain again, generating a tiny spark. Using the spark, Miles places his finger atop the metal, absorbing its electricity as he absorbs even more. The familiar feeling of power courses through his veins, washing over him as he stares down his counterpart, ready for a fight.
