Summary
Phoenix harbours no illusions that getting his badge back is going to be an easy task, even if the hardest part of clearing his name is technically over. He's fully aware that his reinstatement is going to be a bit more complicated than just passing the bar and is going to be more of a case of:
Step 1: Save money to retake bar exam
Step 2: Study frantically to pass said bar exam
Step 3: Pass bar exam
Step 4: Hope and pray that he'll somehow be able to still pull in clients after his reputation got burned to the ground
Step 5: Haircut
Step 6: New suit
Step 7: Finally, finally confess his passionate love for Edgeworth that has been eating him up inside for the past 25 years
Step 8: ???? Lawyer???Thankfully he has a pretty solid support network of people willing to help him out. And if Edgeworth has anything to say about it, they'll probably be able to cut out a few of those steps along the way.
Which is why Phoenix promises himself one thing. If he passes the bar again, he is absolutely going to kiss the Chief Prosecutor square on the lips. Whatever happens after that, they'll just have to wait and see.

Summary
After all they've been through, it's strange that something so important could be so simple, but for Miles and Phoenix, falling in love, at least, doesn't have to be the end of the world.
Some stress relief fluff that I wrote purely to cheer myself up - there is literally negative plot but there is a lot of lawyers falling into the bright and bitter kind of love that can only come from a lifetime of belligerent teamwork.
(The anxiety tag just refers to Edgeworth's reaction to earthquakes and mentions of a psychologist, btw)

Summary
"What did you do?" Yuuri mutters as Viktor takes off his coat and scarf.
Viktor's mouth moves soundlessly for a moment, then gestures for a pencil and pad. Yuuri yanks his way through several drawers and finally finds a grocery list pad and an old charcoal. He throws them in Viktor's direction and shuffles into the kitchen to turn the kettle on. Viktor tugs on his sleeve eventually, like a timid child, and Yuuri turns to see what he's written.
"A succubus?" Yuuri demands, teeth going on edge. "Viktor, oh my God. What did you do?"Or: Viktor needs to stop finding new and creative ways to get himself hexed. Yuuri is Suffering.

Yuuri and Viktor aren't dating. Sure, they're living together, and they're affectionate, and there are those rings, but they are most definitely not romantically involved. Nope.
Viktor is the most well-known person on campus. He is also providing Yuuri with free room and board in exchange for help taking care of his little brother Yurio. He is Yuuri's TA and client and landlord all rolled into one; there's no way Yuuri would dare to date him. That would be a recipe for disaster and they both know it. But it doesn’t take long for Yuuri to notice his relationship with Viktor progressing beyond the professional into something frankly a little intimate. Even if this isn't dating, whatever it is, it's already too late to turn back.

Yuuri buried his blushing cheeks behind the large face of a sunflower. It was only then that Viktor realized that he’d been holding it the whole time. He’d been so busy looking at Yuuri’s face, his shy smile and eyes so cutely full of wonder as he looked at the displays of sweets, his cheeks so perfectly frosted with pink.
When Viktor didn’t make a move, Yuuri cleared his throat, holding the single sunflower out. “I brought this for you,” he said, almost breathless. He glanced down, looking sad. “I… I know you didn’t receive anything from your admirer yesterday, and no one came by the shop… But I saw you earlier through the window and you looked upset, so I just,” Yuuri licked his lips, standing up straighter as he locked eyes with Viktor, “I just wanted you to know you’re not forgotten, is all.”
