Anakin will be sad, Obi-Wan thinks. Both his mentors gone in one day. Not that either of them were very good mentors, in the end; one a Sith Lord, and other a fool who let his padawan into the Sith’s den. He wants to laugh, but his breath catches in his throat.
Cody will survive the war, at least, even if it is to mourn him.
The thought stabs through him, more excruciating than the lightning. Of all the people he didn’t want to leave behind, Cody is the foremost. So much sacrificed in this war, so much lost, but Cody is the one good thing he’s found.

Summary
When the Ministry informs Harry that they are coming to destroy his wand for defending himself from the dementors that attack him in Little Whinging, Harry knows there's only one path left available to him. He can survive on his own. He knows how. It won't even be that hard. And being on the run in his animagus form makes him a feel a little closer to Sirius, anyway.
At least, he thinks so, until he's picked up by a pet store, sold to a classmate, and brought right back to Hogwarts where the state of things is so bad that he's actually glad he's expelled.

He rounded the corner towards the square right in front of the Temple– it was different than before because there had never been a square in front of the Temple.
Obi-Wan froze in place the moment he looked up. His eyes observed the large statues one by one.
Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto– they were all Councillors during the War.
Obi-Wan stood in front of the statues as tears welled up in his eyes. He hadn’t seen them in a long time and these statues looked exactly like them. From facial features and expression down to the way they were seated– as if they were in a regular Council meeting.
“Look Uncle Ben! It’s–” Obi-Wan leaped to Luke and covered his mouth before he could say anything else.
“Yes, I see, it’s General Kenobi.” He hoped the beings whose attention was drawn towards them would move on quickly. “But try not to shout, Luke, alright?”
His eyes left the boy to observe the statue of himself.

Or in which the Clones take over the Empire and Obi-Wan hears rumours about the whole ordeal which causes him to head back to Coruscant.

Sure enough, only a few steps away from the shelter Fives was calling to him from, Echo took a hit straight to the side of his bare head.
“Ack!” He cried out, the snowball knocking him clear over and into a large pile of the same frozen substance. “Pbbt-pff-plah!”

Summary
We've all seen the horribly (and hilariously) translated Backstroke of the West, where a Chinese bootlegger translated Revenge of the Sith into Chinese, and then reverse translated the already inaccurate text back into English using a translation app. Here is the novelization of that masterpiece. This novelization (especially the first chapter) is based heavily on Matthew Stover's Revenge of the Sith novel.
