Summary

Summary
After being dishonored, Aerion had no choice but to accept the union with Ser Duncan, the next and only Stark heir to Winterfell. It was that or be confined for life to serve gods he didn't believe in, in silence for all eternity. Aerion expected the climate to be cold and his relationship with his future husband to be entirely transactional and devoid of any feeling. But he hadn't counted on the wind beginning to stalk him the moment he set foot in the North, as if they wanted him far away. Much less on the addictive scent of his future husband's essence, which seemed made especially for him.
Duncan didn't believe in the new gods and resented the old ones, for they had never heeded one of his pleas… except for the time he begged the man who had stolen his soul so many years. Now that he was finally going to be his husband, he intended to accept this gift from the gods, even though his own husband was determined to make it a curse.
