Izuku Midoriya was abandoned as a child. Alone and seemingly quirkless, he finds a way to protect himself and takes in other quirkless kids, or others who don't really fit into hero-centric society. The young vigilante carries with him one message.
"We are not broken."
Sort of a crack fic for something I've been playing around with! Does depict graphic violence and a lot of blood and gore, plenty of angst, and generally just something fun I wanna mess around with for a little while. Will it be a ship fic? Who knows! This is just me having fun and experimenting with my writing style! Open to requests and suggestions!

Izuku's gaze felt glued to Katsuki's chest. A big scar, looking quite like Kacchan's quirk. Explosion of angry pink, healing scar that took his life. A scar that reminds of sacrifice, heroism.
Of Izuku's failure.
Just like the smaller ones on Katsuki's shoulder and lower belly. Izuku put them here, Izuku had his blood on his hands, and that hurt.
He wonders if Katsuki hates him now. Because how could he not? He got pierced because of him, he died because of him and he was laying here because of him.
Because of Izuku's selfishness.
Or
It's not easy to pick up broken pieces and mold them into something new, something beautiful, without drenching your hands in blood. Katsuki tries and tries but he's getting tired. Izuku runs away but his heart burns for one person. Sometimes words aren't needed, but this time... they're desperate to hear them.

Katsuki grumbled, pretending to be annoyed even as his heart pounded. “What?” he asked, but it came out quieter than intended.
Izuku tilted his head slightly, leaning in until their noses brushed. Katsuki froze, his breath catching in his throat. He didn’t pull away. Izuku’s lips were so close, the warmth of his breath ghosting across his skin, and before Katsuki could brace himself, Izuku closed the gap.
