Summary
Wei WuXian was the secret of the Jiang sect. Not many knew of him, and everyone was warned against going towards the house on the river. All who tried were punished, severely. Many thought it was haunted for the strange music which would sometimes play from the river house. The only ones who went there were Madam Yu and Jiang Cheng.
Wei WuXian was kept away from everyone. Hidden. Madam Yu and Jiang Cheng coming in once in a while. It was never good when they did. Kept weakened so that he could not escape, he was absolutely terrified of people. When the Lan Clan comes to investigate rumors of mistreatment of the Jiang clan, they were about to leave, having found nothing, when Lan Xichen stops them, suddenly, and orders them to cross the river. Panicked, Jiang Cheng and Madam Yu attack them, which only serves to raise their suspicion more.
