One moment Kakashi is happy with his father, the next he is dead. He can't sleep. Kakashi trains himself into the ground. He still can’t sleep. He wants to be better than his father. He still cannot sleep. The village hates him because of what his father had done. Sleep eludes him. Things change when he runs into a house.
One moment Minato is trying to figure out his student while trying to balance his duties, and then next Kakashi flipped his entire demeaner. He is still a sarcastic little menace, but he’s far more open to Minato’s teachings. He knew he made mistakes with his student, but this change in life happened while he was away.
As in: Sakura decided to become the problem, Kakashi is the problem and the solution, and Minato is the solution.

Kakashi was training Naruto to be next Hokage, she was running the hospital system, and the village was built back up nearly as good as new. Sasuke, despite being pardoned by Kakashi, had left the village to wander the nations, and she hadn't heard from him in months, though she had been more than happy to keep it that way.
That is, until she ends up landing in the middle of Fire Country 2 decades in the past after he suddenly appears and sends her shooting through dimensions with his Rinnegan.
