Summary
The Withering was something no one would expect to expand at such a length. With the obstruction of forbidden knowledge from Lesser Lord Kusanali, and the Withering slowly, but surely being hacked away from forest rangers and travelers, it seemed the life-sucking force would be gone soon. The people of Sumeru were always weary and avoidant of this species of plant, since if you were in a Withering zone for more than a couple seconds you were dead without a vision. So, seeing its destruction by vision wielders and the mighty traveler and Paimon made Sumeru finally breathe again and venture into the lush forests like they used to.
Instead, something slipped.
~ Hello Again! This fanfic is currently being revamped, as I am a perfectionist and decided the AP exams are not stressful enough for me. The current chapters will be redone with (hopefully) more sophistication, and then the story will then continue from there. Thank you for your everlasting patience with me. :,)~
