" There's a hand reaching out from the ghostly Veil, fingers clutching at nothing before it finds purchase on the rock wall at the edge.
By now the Death Chamber is as silent as the dead of night, no-one daring to even breathe as they watched in horrid fascination as a tanned and hairy arm follows the leather clad hand, only the fingers visible.
"Impossible!" Someone cries, Harry can't tell but he's assuming a woman at least.
Slowly but surely, a tall man emerges from the ghostly Veil, using his grip on the wall for support as he gathers his bearings. He's tall, roughly over six foot and well built. Harry can see muscles straining against the material of his black buttoned shirt, it's sleeves having been rolled up to his elbows and exposing dirt and blood crusted hairy arms. When he's finally stepped all the way through and into the minimal light that shines into the chamber, it becomes clear that he's come from a battle of some kind. "

The Spectres find themselves in a bit of a bind when they're abruptly thrown from hyperdrive and forced to land on an unknown planet in order to fix their broken Ghost. However, it's been a year since they've lost one of their own in their escape from Malachor.

Link swallows something heavy and dull. “Congratulations,” he gets out. “You must be very happy.”
“I am indeed,” Sidon confirms. “Though I’m much happier now that you are here!”
Link doesn’t say anything in response to that, because he can’t force his body to move even if he wanted to. A tear is beginning to form in his heart now, between the elation of seeing Sidon again and the pain that the news of his engagement brings him.
He wonders to himself just how long it will be before the tear grows larger and rips in two.

After the Agni Kai, Zuko is going to die from his injuries. Iroh begs for the spirits to intervene--and the Blue Spirit answers. It saves Zuko, but irrevocably binds them together, changing Zuko into something no longer quite as human. The Blue Spirit has its own motives, and under its guidance, Zuko grows disillusioned with the Fire Nation during his three-year exile.
When he finally discovers the Avatar, Zuko's mission isn't to capture him--it is to help him bring balance to the world. But he didn't plan on falling in love with him along the way.
