Summary
In a world of monochrome husks, Mizuki catches glimpse of a girl in a colourful raincoat across the street. In her rush to catch up to her, she fails to realize the umbrella she had brought with her was damaged, and the rain does not show her any mercy for this fatal mistake.
Thankfully, both her problems are solved in one blow, when she is offered a bright pink umbrella from an equally vibrant girl.
After a few silly jokes and the consumption of many fries, Mizuki's world absorbs the same brightness as the girl she had quickly grown to be so fond of.
