Summary
It should have been a punishment. But to Hans, hearing that he would finally be sent away to live with his mother was the best news he could have gotten. It was the perfect opportunity to disappear and live in the woods, finally free. What he didn't expect, however, was the horrifying presence in the woods, nor the unexpected companion he would gain.

Summary
When Henry was dragged to a party hosted by the frat his friends Mathhew and Fritz joined, he expected to be a wallflower for the night, not the centerpoint of a game of Seven Minutes in Heaven. Shoved in a pitch dark closet and being joined by a stranger wasn't really on his bucket list, but this might just turn out to be better than he expected.

Summary
Infiltrating Vranik was supposed to be risky, but simple: Henry and Hans would go together, because a centaur going alone would be too suspicious. Never could Henry have expected Istvan to be there, however. Now he was powerless to do anything but wait for whatever cruel thing Istvan had in store for him. Henry expected torture, but it seemed that he didn't need to fear for his life, but his mind.
----
Henry is captured by Istvan during the infiltration of Vranik. Istvan is more than eager to break Henry, and to rebuild the centaur as his obedient steed through any means necessary.

Summary
Even at his young age, Henry had accepted that he would never truly fit in as a centaur and have his dreams come true. That was why he was nervous to join his Pa on a trip to Kuttenberg, fearing for the judgment of an entire city of strangers. But he decided to go anyway, because how could his life ever start if he didn't even dare to go beyond the safety of Skalitz?
----
Young Henry is taken on a trip by Martin to sell blacksmithing products in Kuttenberg. Henry's status as a centaur ensures that the trip won't be all sunshine and rainbows, though.

Summary
"When you tried on the suit, and you were standing there, squirming, it put this sick idea in my head, okay? You looked fucking hot in it — but the thought that it was me who bought it for you — rattled me, Jack."
It starts with a suit.

Summary
Robby’s brilliant and beautiful brain had always been a wonder for Jack to pick apart. Over the years, Jack had figured out how to react to various mental shutdowns and considered himself an expert in it.
However, physical trauma turned out to be uncharted territory. Apparently, when Robby got bonked on the head, his brain simply decided to go Husband? What husband?
Jack found it distressingly comical. Until he learned why.

Summary
2017 was another horrific year for Michael Robinavitch. And the years following seemed to be only getting worse.
He lost Jack, for real this time, and kept losing.
Jack Abbot begged to differ.

Summary
2012 was unarguably the worst year for Jack Abbot. He spent New Year’s Eve with his wife, both legs, and a best friend, but woke up on Christmas with a widower tag on his back, a prosthetic leg, and a live-in ED attending.
2012 was also a horrible year for Michael Robinavitch. He had two excruciating phone calls with the Red Cross and almost lost Jack in between.
At least they got to spend a couple more New Year’s Eves together.
