Luffy and Law swap hearts before leaving Wano because that is a perfectly reasonable way to handle your crush sailing into the opposite horizon in the morning. And because their entire relationship is based off of one of them going 'get in loser, we're going to upend the natural order', and the other sliding into the passenger seat with takeaway coffees already in hand.

This is great! They love each other very much, dedicated the whole way through which is sweet to see. They even have a heart swap from the beginning! It's all very clever, I enjoyed the changes and there were so many amazing and different character interactions! Loved having more Cora and asl. And there are multiple funny, through line inside jokes. It even got me crying a bit near the end! Defo need to read more of this author. (Okay, this author also did the gods series of sun and death!)
