Borin Baggins was no ordinary boy. For one thing he didn’t look like a normal hobbit, sure his hair was curly and his ears pointed, but his feet were too small with little to no hair on them and he even had a beard. Ever since his parents died in a boat accident he was raised by his dreadful aunt and uncle, Lobelia and Otho Sackville Baggins and his dreadful cousin Lotho. At least this was what he believed until a wizard found his way to his door. And what was his father’s ring whispering in his ears.

They happen upon the Shire where they meet a feisty young hobbit woman that welcomed them to her new home where she lived with just her husband Bungo Baggins. Bilbo Baggins would then be born and grow up with this odd little family and in later years the quest to Erebor would begin.

Summary
After the Battle of the Five Armies, the Sons of Durin invoke the law of their people in an attempt to punish Belladonna Baggins for stealing the Arkenstone. Thorin, fearing for her life and unable to bear the thought of anyone laying a hand on his thief, sees no choice but to deceive Bella—sending her away from Erebor to keep her safe from his people’s wrath.
Heartbroken and in despair, Bella returns to the Shire carrying a secret. One that will change the fate of the Sons of Durin forever.
Meanwhile, Dwalin awaits Dís’s arrival with restless longing—yearning to put an end to the misunderstandings and resentments that wounded them and drove them apart so many years ago.

Bilbo Baggins was a great many things. He was the master of Bag End, a wealthy gentle hobbit, the favored grandson of the Thain, son of Belladonna Took, and a renowned scholar within the Shire. In fact, Bilbo had made an excellent name for himself, he was a reputable, if estranged and largely rumored about, member of his community. Bilbo was all of this and more, however, there was one thing he was not. That one thing was a simple matter. He was not a Baggins.

Before her father died, Bilbo Baggins swore him a secret, that no one would ever find out that the steadfast heir of Bag End was female. No one could ever know that she was, in fact, not a he. It was a secret she had planned to keep until the day she died. She didn't expect, however, for Gandalf the Grey to turn up at her doorstep with a company of Dwarves who wanted to reclaim their homeland from a dragon. Nor did she expect to follow after them.
But she did. Because she felt something towards their story. Because she knew, deep down, what it meant to not truly have a home. And it definitely had nothing to do with their leader with his heroic figure and his haunting voice. Nothing to do with Thorin Oakenshield at all.
She followed them on their dangerous journey across the world. But she knows that she has to keep her distance. It doesn't matter how charming they are or how kind. None of them can know. She has to keep it secret. She must keep it safe.

Summary
Suddenly, the door closest to him burst open and slammed into the stone wall with a bang that Thorin was sure could be heard in Rivendell. Dwalin bounded through the door and pulled Thorin out of his chair.
“There is something outside you need to see,” Dwalin replied to the unspoken question on Thorin’s face.
Dwalin ignored Thorin’s questioning as he dragged his King through the many twists and turns of Erebor’s pathways and caverns.
Upon reaching the battlements above the front entrance, Dwalin pointed out to a group of rocks to the left of the gates. “What should we do,” He asked. His voice held a slightly mischievous undertone that was unexplained until Thorin noticed his wife running out from behind the rocks, followed closely by his children and nephews.
