Notes: Great fic, very cute. Blake is a little insufferable at the start, but she gets much better as the fic progresses. Love Yang here too.

Notes: Good fic, though it's a bit fast paced toward the end. The stuff involving the Schnee's wasn't explained the most clearly imo, but it got across what it needed to. Great WhiteRose too.

She gasps and splays her hands across her chest in an attempt to feel the rising and falling and convince herself that she’s okay, that she’s all in one piece.
But she can’t hear anything else.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Hands of Creation - namohysip

With answers easily slipping away and chaos rising the more he fights to find them, there was no telling what hides in his forgotten core, and what he will become once unleashed.
A lot of this story could be cut down that isn't needed, but that goes for most fics in the 1 mil+ range. The constant reveals about Owen get old, and it becomes really confusing the longer it happens. The morality is often black and white, which isn't a problem by itself, but the story tries to read like it's grey, but it typically isn't, especially when it comes to the villains. I find this aspect gets better later in the fic, but the early chunks are hurt by it imo. By the end of the fic, for me, it feels like the team, Owen especially, just never get a break.
I feel like there's a lot of heart to the characters, but in turn, I don't think the characters are juggled well. If anything, I feel like it's this stories biggest weakness. That being said, I like that change is viewed as something positive in this fic, and that Owen is able to look at all of his lifetimes in the end and address them, rather than reject them. And, though I don't think it's handled the best, I do find the characters taking the time to find themselves and learn who others really are compelling.
A lot of thought went into this fic, and I'm glad it was seen to completion. It just wasn't for me in the end.

With the help of a journeying Cyndaquil, he chooses to take balance into his own claws in a new world of uncertainty and danger.Notes: Was good overall, but it was pretty stilted at times, especially the dialogue. I like bittersweet/sad endings, but this one didn't suit me. I would've preferred something more open ended in the fic rather than an author's note at the end, but that's just me. Aside from the ending, it's a pretty decent fic.

I gave up after 118, tried again and made it a bit further and gave up again. There are a lot of interesting concepts, but they aren't met for the time I read. I personally find the MC boring and pretty much never loses despite people's claims that she does. More though, this stories setting doesn't know whether it wants to be edgy, grimdark, or 'realistic' and in a weird way, it's all three all at once. I also feel the pacing is slow, which normally isn't an issue for me, but it's just too much here.
That being said, a lot of thought clearly went into this fic, and I do like the first chunk of the story. Not many OC fics get completed, especially at this length, and a lot of thought went into the world building, which I appreciate. There are a lot of characters that I feel were juggled well too, which is typically hard to do.
I'll try to read it again in the future, hopefully my mind will change, but it won't be anytime soon.
