Summary
Kyoshi was the Avatar. One that should’ve never been. She was an Avatar that was dying. An Avatar that was currently bleeding out and too tired to keep going.
But she was also a girlfriend. One that would be in big trouble if she let herself lay here and bleed out. So, reluctantly she pushed herself up with a groan. One hand clutched to the arrow buried in her gut.

Summary
She lay in the bed that wasn’t meant for her, just like everything else in this world that never seemed to let up its hate for her. Her body ached from more than the purpling bruises on her skin. She stared at the ceiling, at the wood grain that moved across the planks like flowing water. Each indent a show of the life it had before getting cut off to be nothing more than a single wood plain on a servant’s ceiling. It was the most anyone had sacrificed for her.
