"Lied-kun, close your eyes please, and don't open them until I say so."
Lied is so shocked and bewildered at Iruma's sudden appearance and disturbingly calm attitude that he does just that and closes his eyes tight. He flinches violently at the terrifying roar the hellbear lets out, he barely forces himself to keep his eyes closed in time before another ground-shaking growl is let out.
But it's not from the bear.
A low, guttural growl is ripped out from somebody's or something's throat, it promises blood, it promises violence, it promises to harm whatever has offended it, it promises hurt, it promises death.
It promises a lot of things but it's not from the bear.

Purson had a busy day, so he was playing trumpet on the roof on the royal one to calm down. When he was done, he went to the classroom just in time to see Iruma's back, wingless and covered in scars.

Summary
Iruma is human. This means a lot of things for him, being the odd one out amongst the demons around him. He doesn't have horns, fangs, or a tail- but it's easy enough to dodge questions about those. Maybe it's unusual to be missing all three, but there's a large variety amongst demons. What's harder to explain away is his lack of wings, which he had been doing so well at hiding...
Except- humans are mythical creatures, to demons; so when Iruma's missing wing roots are discovered, that's not the first thing on anyone's mind. There is, in fact, a reason that a demon might be missing their wings. A horrible, horrible reason.
Never before had Iruma been grateful to have his scars.
