Summary
Din has been looking forward to spending time with his husband. It's been almost a month since they've spent more than a few stolen minutes together between their responsibilities; being Mand'alor and the last Jedi Master with numerous younglings to look after and a newborn Republic to help aren't exactly part-time jobs. They'd finally managed to find a night where a respite in both their busy schedules line up, but to Din's disappointment Bo-Katan calls an emergency council meeting that the Mand'alor cannot miss.
Unable to wait any longer, Luke finds a way to make Din's holo meeting a lot more pleasurable. Afterwards, Din teaches his husband a lesson in self-restraint.

Peace in the New Republic is not coming as easy as desired.
The newly reformed, and quickly growing, Mandalorians and their fearsome king have announced they will not join the New Republic’s hold and it is making keeping the peace become progressively more difficult to the point political marriage may be the only way to prevent bloodshed. However, no one in the New Republic can meet the impossible standards set by the Mand’alor.

Set between ANH and ESB
Its been two years since Mand'alor Din Djarin reclaimed Mandalore and set up a new home for his people, who have come in droves from hidden corners of secret isolation across the galaxy. With Dins strong leadership as well as some guidance from the strangely sentient Darksabre, their new kingdom is flourishing. Now they have turned their attention towards increasing their numbers through rescuing children from the slave trade to be welcomed into their families and raised as Mandalorians.
Din isn't interested in expanding the Clan of Two he shares with Grogu. However, one band of slavers have something that catches his attention - a feisty Tooka hybrid who is as mysterious as he is beautiful. Din immediately takes him to be his consort, trying to earn his affection through kindness and patience. But the Tooka has endured terrible abuse at the hands of the slavers and his trust will not be given easily.
As they navigate their growing feelings and adapt to the change each has brought to the others life, Din learns that there is more to his little Tooka than meets the eye...

Summary
When Din left the Kid with the Jedi, he assumed he'd never see him again. Months later, he can't shake the feeling that he's lost something vital, perhaps even the meaning of his life. When he catches a glimpse of the Jedi on Tatooine, his craving for the clan he's lost spirals, and he finds himself looking for a teacher to help him wield the Darksaber that's made him Mand'alor, amidst the turmoil of Bo-Katan Kryze's effort to reclaim her home planet.
As an unmated alpha without a clan, Din cannot help feeling unworthy. The Jedi and his storm-bright eyes, though, they might just guide him where he needs to be.
