Summary
Hide-and-seek is a dangerous game, and one that they have played very well thus far. Even one loss did not make them falter in their skill, and whenever those uninvited guests of the forest made it into their tightly-locked house they were always able to avoid them. It is a game of chance, but also one of safety. Their house may be starting to collect dust and leaves, as any lodging would with only one person to maintain it, but the outside world would be too quick to swallow it up were it not for the quiet endurance of its Lodger.
Yet what happens when the guests break routine and decide to keep coming every single night? And what will the Lodger do when the foundations of their narrative starts to shift?
