Summary
When Sirius had adopted a cat six months ago, it was to the many objections of literally every one of his friends. Now, his scruffy new cat has turned into an escape artist and slinks out the living room window every now and then to adventure. Plus, after a disastrous attempt at flirting, the adorably grumpy barista at his favorite café just might hate him a little. Basically Sirius is suffering.
But when his cat starts disappearing more often and for longer lengths of time, Sirius takes it upon himself to find out why.

The Russian pet name set a firework off inside Shane's mind as he heard it cooed from behind him. The intonation was just as he remembered, but the voice was much deeper.He turned and felt himself short circuit. It took every ounce of willpower to not let his jaw drop cartoonishly to the floor.
