Summary

Her neighbor, a farmer named Plutt, doesn't hesitate to aim his rifle at any animal that crosses his land, and one winter night, Rey finds an injured wolf-dog behind her home.
With the help of her friend and veterinarian, Rose, they nurse the wolf-dog back to health, and Rey tries to find out where the beautiful animal came from. She doesn't expect to grow close to the dog, closer than what is appropriate or legal.
She also doesn't expect KYLØ to shift into a tall man with dark hair and eyes that pierce her soul.
