Summary
It had been millennia since the traveler departed from Teyvat, many lifetimes past, old mountains eroded, while new mountains took their place. As time advanced forwards, humans did too. City expanded, new technologies took over, and humans conquered the once vacant land as their own. As such, the reliance of gods became an extinct ideal. In Liyue, gods were brought up as a mere legend of the past, their stories wildly warped into a sort of fools tale. A godless land, as one would put it, but the humans managed well.
