The new technician sure does seem a little strange. Chester (at least, that's what their name tag says) doesn't seem as concerned as they should be about the high turnover rate here at Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizza-Plex, or the numerous rumors about what happens to people who take the night shift. And to make matters worse, there seems to be some kind of criminal on the loose! The cops say they think the criminal is hiding out in the woods somewhere near the pizza-plex. Stress is high at the plex these days, but Chester is stoic as ever. Say, come to think of it, no one can seem to remember where Chester's application went or who they interviewed with. Their employee file is misplaced or missing just like everything else in this place. But the new tech does a good job completing their tasks, and has their own badge and everything, so of course they must belong here. It's not like someone would sneak into the plex and go this far out of their way to impersonate a low level technician. Right??

Sometimes people don't get childhoods... growing up is a series of mind games, abuse, and pain. The only way my brain was able to get over it was to create two sets of 'train tracks'. I'm the garbage bin for all our trauma, guilt, and shame. Then there's Shiny, the mask of a perfect child that everyone loves to see.
I had a strict routine I stuck to so I could stay isolated and ignore the past, but one day I 'came to' in the Fazzbear daycare. It appears I've been 'inside' and unaware for a year and Shiny has built a completely new life. I'm so fucking tired of this. Why the daycare?! Why is Shiny carrying around this dumb collection of rocks?! I get that I'm not 'Shiny' but does Sun really have to be so overbearing... and Moon... Why's he act like he already knows me?
'We don't like it here'
There's something not right. How come I'm the only one seeing how nothing is adding up?

With nowhere else to go, Riley returns to the place they spent their childhood- Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. When they discover that something is very wrong with the animatronics, they're forced to take shelter in the Superstar Daycare.
Considering that their favorite hobby has always been analyzing how animatronics work and think, Riley is thrilled at the chance to get to know the Daycare Attendant. Too bad everything had to go wrong first for them to get here. At least they're safe in the daycare, right? No health and safety hazards here in the Superstar Daycare absolutely none no siree.
AKA mostly a whole lot of playing with and getting to know Sun- As long as the lights stay on, anyway.
(Not a fan of longfics? Looking for something shorter but still satisfying? Chapter 11 and chapter 32 both work as early stopping points if you wish)(This fic is now a fully completed work!)
