    Ingo had been trying to find an understanding with Litwick ever since catching her, but it's proven to be easier said than done. He didn't expect them to become best friends overnight, but it felt like they hadn't made any progress at all, and for every day they spent stalled, their scheduled outset grew that much closer. The longer it went on, the more it seemed that she'd be happier anywhere else...

    Litwick didn't want a trainer. Any trainer. If someone lived up to her lofty standards, then she might graciously accept their input, but they had to recognize that she was her own Pokemon first and foremost. The problem was, some kid had gone and captured her-- and she was still sort of bitter about it.

    (This is a fic based on Critterbitter's recent comic series!)
