Summary
...For several years, that was all he dreamed of. That moment above the clouds, his father, and the mystery behind it. Everything after would work itself out, he thought. Gon’s goal was just to find him, that was all, and he was so happy he had finally done it.
Gon never even considered what could come after.
Ging was gone.
Killua was gone.
His Nen was gone.Gon sat up abruptly.
“All right,” he said to the wind and the butterfly on his knee with an excitement he didn’t feel, “It’s time to get back to training.”

Summary
Gon states, “I think you have a fever.” Considering the rush of blood to the head he had mere seconds ago, Killua wants to say, Well, no shit, but Gon continues, “You were coughing a lot when we were playing earlier. You caught a cold.”
Killua blinks at him and can't help laughing. “Idiot,” he retorts, batting Gon's hand away. “Assassins don’t catch colds.”
And then, just as Gon is about to speak, Killua sneezes.

Gon smirked. “It’s supposed to snow tomorrow.”
“…so?”
“So, they’re going to cancel school! And if you stay over tonight…”
“We can spend all day together tomorrow,” Killua finished, clarity washing over him at the realization, and Gon bobbed his head vigorously.
“Exactly! Plus, you know.” His smile turned shy, and Killua’s heart stuttered at the light blush forming on Gon’s freckled cheeks. “Aunt Mito’s out of town this week.”
Killua’s pulse started to climb, heartbeat loud and thumbing in his ears. “Oh.”
Gon wiggled his eyebrows. “Yeah. Oh.”
