Summary
Months after Dean had told Castiel he had to leave the bunker, the angel comes back running on fumes from another angel's grace. Dean goes into action to take care of his best friend and make up for making him leave. But what happens if Cas gets better? Will he leave again or will Dean find the words to get him to stay. Or will it be Castiel who steps up first? Who would have thought the reveal would come after a game of strip poker, a 'platonic' slow dance, and a cocky archangel.
Or Dean takes care of Cas and the angel spends the rest of his life trying to do that same for his hunter, wanting to give Dean a life and home he should have had all along.

Sam doesn't trust Lucifer, but after Metatron's spell casts all angels to Earth, including Lucifer and Michael, Michael drops an ultimatum that forces Lucifer to live in the Bunker with them. Summary
Dean is running out of time to find a cure for the Mark of Cain. When he crosses a line, he has to take matters into his own hands. In a final act of goodness while he still has some left, Dean turns the First Blade on himself.
But it doesn't kill him. Not completely. He wakes up with black eyes and the weight of the world lifted from his shoulders. Now living in perfect synchrony with the Mark, it turns out becoming a demon was the only cure he needed.
Sam and Castiel, both falling apart in their own ways, will do everything they can to put Dean's pieces back together. Even if the cost is something none of them can come back from.
