    “That’s not what I meant, you idiot! Don’t you dare tell him that!” The girl exclaimed in feigned indignation, but the grin on her face wasn’t at all scolding, so Adrien was terribly impatient to find out who she could be talking to in such a manner.

    “Mari…” he called timidly, but curiosity was simply choking him by this point, “Who are you talking to…?”

    Marinette took her hand away from her eyes and looked at him with slight surprise, as if she had just noticed him, although she had said hello to him before. Scratch that, she was literally talking to someone about Adrien right now, so the fact that she had managed to forget about his presence seemed somehow especially painful.
