The robot’s screen turned red.
Pearl felt something weird in her through, almost as if her vocal cords became metallic.
“Pearl what happened?” Joel cautiously asked, taking a step back.
Pearl tried to say she wasn’t sure, but all that came out were incomprehensible beeps.
“Oh my god she sounds like a robot!” Gem laughed.
“You sound adorable,” Gem teased.
Pearl tried to protest. But all that came out of her mouth were the metallic inhuman jumble of noise. She tried to push Gem away. But Gem’s caribou sturdiness was no joke.
“Ooooh,” Gem cood, “You know, i think when I’m red, and you’re still red because you’re not gonna die, we can still have fun,”
All Pearl could do was let out a small metallic whimper. Gem couldn’t help but giggle.
“Do you wanna have some fun right now?”
