Summary
During the one-year time skip between arcs 4 and 5 of Re:Zero, Subaru Natsuki has experienced mostly peace. He trains, spends time with his friends, and, most importantly, doesn't die any horrible deaths.
Unfortunately, that doesn't last as long as he wishes. Deviating from the original story, Subaru dies 4 months into the time skip to a wolfgarm. And while this wouldn't normally be too crazy, things take a drastic turn when Return By Death's normal restrictions start acting up...
