Summary
Welcome to my twisted little AU version of Hawkins, Indiana, circa 1985
Starcourt Mall was built but the FBI discovered the Russian operation before the Key could be activated. No Gate to the Upside Down was opened. The Mind Flayer never showed up. Billy Hargrove never got flayed, but he did get laid - Karen Wheeler walks right past Ted and Holly asleep in the La-Z-Boy to initiate her affair with Billy.
The teen angst subplots of "Suzy, Do You Copy?", "The Mall Rats" and "The Case of the Missing Lifeguard" occurred unabated, I.E. El dumps Mike's ass.
At some point that during the weekend, Ted Wheeler walks in on Billy and Karen.
At some point, Karen flees to her parents home in Florida, taking Nancy, Mike and Holly with her.
Our story picks up in the fall of 1985: Ted has moved out, allowing Karen and the kids to return to the house and start school late
