Summary
Life is normal. Traffic is the same. Work is as hectic as ever. Finances are in the toilet, as per usual. People are dull and difficult. Parents are as demanding as any would be when their son is a Lone Alpha with no mate nor family to support him. Minho’s life is just as it’s always been. So, then, why does he begin questioning the mundane and trivial when the rookie detective he’s assigned as a new partner starts unraveling the illusion?
Or: Minho and Jisung are newly-partnered police detectives investigating Seoul’s gnarliest homicides--or so they thought. The world is starting to seem a little hinkier than they remember…

Summary
Finding out his best friend had transitioned from once-a-week gaming streaming to 'adult content' wasn’t exactly something Minho had envisioned happening in his lifetime, especially with how conservative he’d always been until college. Having to awkwardly skirt around Jisung’s sudden expensive purchases of ‘discreet’ boxes and new-found interest in obscure clothing items that were typically out of his comfort zone had taken him by surprise.
Minho is a supportive best friend, who just so happens to be in love with him.
What could possibly go wrong?

Summary
Dance Major Minho meets Jisung at a frat party. He never meant to fall in love.
“Ah, sorry to make assumptions. You were glaring pretty hard for someone who is enjoying himself,” the guy says gravely, and Minho finally takes a swig of his drink so he can avoid answering that.
It’s bitter, a too-liquored jungle juice that makes his tongue feel a little too heavy in his mouth. He chokes it down anyway, keeping eye contact the entire time. His focus on the mystery boy distracts him from the urge to grimace.
“This is just my face,” Minho deadpans.

Tentatively, Jisung says, “...Cell?”

Alternatively, Jisung is an anomaly. A fairy that can't do magic.
But - bolstered by a book, willpower (which Hyunjin calls stupidity), and a not-quite-chance encounter with a powerful stranger - this is something Jisung is determined to change.
