    It’s Ford’s second unexpected reunion in as many days. Funnily enough, his reaction to this one is the exact same as it was to the first. He swings a punch directly at Rick’s face.

    Stanley never saw it coming. But Rick, Rick’s always on his guard, and he ducks the punch like an old pro. He grabs Ford’s wrist as he goes, using the momentum to spin himself in so that his back slots against Ford’s chest and he can yank Ford’s arm down around his waist like they’re posing for a prom picture.

    “H-hey there, Fordy,” he purrs. “Did ya miss me?”

    OR: the one where Rick and Ford had a fling in the nightmare dimension.

    When Sunday arrives on Aventurine's doorstep - looking a bit worse for wear after having made the trek from the depths of the Family Estate to the Reverie - he's reluctant to allow him inside.

    And understandably so.

    The gambler is still reeling from having just been restored as a Stoneheart, his shattered Cornerstone mended and heavy in his pocket. One could certainly understand the drawbacks to harboring a wanted fugitive as high-profile as that of the disgraced Oak Family Head after such a grueling day.

    However, matters of the heart are - regrettably - as fickle as they are tedious. The pair soon find themselves in a delicate dance around what took place between them in that cold, dark cell two weeks prior as Sunday's stay only seems to lengthen indefinitely with each passing day. Tensions bubble, feelings bloom, and the pair come to realize two different things about themselves:

    Sunday is pathetically easy to woo in the face of his recent defeat, and Aventurine comes to care far too quickly for things that are out of his reach.

    So easy. Of course Aventurine wants to have sex with him. Sunday will rub it in his face once Aventurine has arrived. “Go back to your room and think of me. I’ll bring you here.”

    Sunday accidentally finds his way into an area of the Dreamscape that vies for his self-control. He can only think of one person who might be able to help him out.
